Nothing but nonsense

I have nothing to post about but I'm in the mood to write... so what shall we talk about? The upcoming holidays perhaps? Thanksgiving at my house! Christmas not planned yet, or maybe we should talk about the fact that Christmas is right around the corner and I have yet to buy presents, make cards, create a list, anything!!!

I am sooo behind. I am scared that I might not catch up. I'm usually done by now, DONE as in completely bought everything for everyone I was going to buy this year! Today, nothing bought, money is tight, so I hope my family likes Free Homemade Cookies for their presents. :) YUM

Maybe mine won't look this good but it's worth dreaming about! :) So my question to all of you (yeah all 2 of you that read this blog) is since the economy pretty much sucks right now and maybe it's not the best of financial times are you still going out and splurging for Christmas OR is it all cut back this year, crafty or homemade gifts?

Let me know, I'm anxious to get some ideas and don't forget if you leave a comment you will be entered in an upcoming out of the blue giveaway. :)

I love the goodies you bought the other day. We don't have a HL here, I wish we did though. We're having a secondhand and crafty Christmas this year. Money is just too tight. I sent you an email, did ya get it? I was wondering if there were any certain themes or anything you'd like in your package??

I wish we had an Archivers too. :( We only have Michaels, ACMoore, and Joanns. They are not very good though, everything is OLD. All of our LSS have went out of business (or are being sold). I only shop online.

Oh yeah-I live in West Virginia! I've been to really nice Michael's before, but ours is terrible. They never get new paper in, which makes me want to cry!

You never know unless you try! Good luck in your cookie endeavor.

I've tasted your cookies and I think they would make an excellant gift! Besides that, you are very crafty and anything you make would be great. As for us, we drew names, so that makes it easier and of course, we will get the kids. But even that is scaled down. I love Christmas and gift giving, but we have to live within our means and the most important part of Christmas is being with the people you love, and that's what we're doing!!

I LOVE nonsense, and I think home baked cookies make perfect presents!

We are spending the same as usual on our kids, because we never go overboard anyway...but we're cutting back on the relatives. Most of the relatives love my hubby's homemade cinnamon rolls, so I think we'll buy a bunch of inexpensive foil pans and bake each family their own pan of cinnamon rolls to chow down on! :)
